I’ve known since I was 7 years old that caring for children was what I wanted to do. While other kids my age were still figuring out what “pediatrics” meant, I was already choosing it for school projects.
I was born and raised in Fort Worth, and I’m proud to care for families in the community I call home. I was excited to join Care for Kids and help meet the need for more children’s healthcare in our area. I especially love seeing familiar faces when former patients find me again!
I began my healthcare career as a labor and delivery nurse before attending Texas Women’s University to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Since then, I have worked in primary and urgent care, including JPS school-based clinics.
Outside of work, I love being Gigi to five grandchildren — four boys and one girl. I also enjoy photography, boating, traveling, crafting, ceramics, and listening to audiobooks.
I love getting to know the families I care for and helping children grow up healthy and safe. I believe in giving parents clear, practical information, focusing on prevention, and being there when things don’t go as planned.
