Hi, I’m Faith Banda, a board-certified Physician Assistant with more than 15 years of experience caring for children and families.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of caring for children in pediatric emergency medicine, trauma surgery, urgent care, and primary care. My years in pediatric emergency and urgent care have given me extensive experience caring for children when they are sick or injured, but one of the things I love most about primary care is having the opportunity to know my patients when they are well, too.
At our Mansfield location, I enjoy caring for children through every stage of childhood and adolescence. Whether I’m seeing a child for a well visit, following their growth and development, completing a school or sports physical, or helping a family through an unexpected illness or injury, my goal is to provide thoughtful, practical, and compassionate care.
I believe some of the best pediatric care happens when parents and providers work together. Parents know their children better than anyone, and I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns, and being an active part of your child’s care. I want every family to leave our office feeling heard, informed, and confident about what comes next.
As a mom of two boys, I also understand pediatric healthcare from the parent’s side of the exam room. I know that parenting comes with plenty of questions—and that sometimes you simply need someone you trust to tell you what to worry about, what not to worry about, and what to do next.
Outside of medicine, much of my time is centered around my family, faith, and community. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our boys, hosting and bringing people together, traveling, and creating beautiful spaces and experiences for the people I love.
After so many years of caring for children during some of their most stressful moments, I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to build longer-lasting relationships with families in Mansfield. It is truly a privilege to watch children grow, celebrate their milestones, and become a trusted part of their healthcare journey.
