From a young age, I knew I wanted to work in pediatrics. That early passion guided my entire career and continues to inspire the care I provide today. I earned my Registered Nursing degree in 2003 and began my nursing career in 2004 in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Amarillo, Texas. Those early years shaped my commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to children and their families.
In 2016, I moved to Leander to be closer to family and began working in a Children’s Emergency Department in the Austin area. During my time there, I advanced from a staff nurse to the charge nurse role. After completing my Master’s Degree in 2019 and becoming a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, I transitioned into the provider role and quickly progressed to become the Lead Nurse Practitioner for the Children’s ER. These experiences strengthened my clinical expertise and helped shape the leader and provider I am today.
I joined Care for Kids in 2024 and have truly enjoyed caring for the children who live in the same community I call home. I am excited to now serve as the primary provider for this clinic and look forward to supporting, growing with, and giving back to the families in our community.
Outside of work, I am married and a proud parent of three children who attend elementary, middle, and high school here in Leander. Our family is active in the local high school marching band, and we love spending time together playing golf, going camping, and visiting theme parks. These experiences keep me connected to the families I serve and deepen my passion for supporting the health and well-being of children in our community.

I’ve spent the past 19 years working in medicine, and I discovered my passion for pediatrics early in my career. Kids are honest, curious, and fun—and connecting with them comes naturally to me. I hope families can feel my joy for this work and my dedication to wellness and education in every interaction.
My journey started at community college, continued through a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Texas Tech, and eventually led me to Boston while supporting my husband’s military career. There, I earned my master’s degree in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Regis College.
I’m a born-and-raised Texas girl who grew up in a town with more cows than people—and I carry that small-town heart with me everywhere I go. Today, my husband, our two children, four rabbits, one dog, and one very loved rat all call Pearland home. We’re active members of this community, and Pearland truly is our home.
Today, I’m proud to serve as Pearland’s Practice Partner. My mission is simple: to support and care for this community the same way I care for my own family. I can’t wait to meet you and yours.
