Kiss Me! I’m Irish! | St. Patrick’s Day Craft
Happy St. Patrick’s Day everybody! Whether you are Irish or not, this is always a great holiday to do some fun and easy crafts with the kiddos.
We know St. Patrick’s Day is all about the color green, but we wanted to bring a little more color into it this year. You can’t have St. Patrick’s Day without some leprechauns, and what are leprechauns in search of? A POT OF GOLD! Today we will be making a hanging rainbow with a pot of gold.
We found this adorable craft on CraftyMorning.com. Feel free to follow the steps below and watch your pot of gold come to life!
What You Need:
-Construction Paper (preferably all colors of the rainbow + black)
Cut one 2-inch wide strips of each color paper (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) + add a black strip for the handle of the pot
Roll each strip into a circle. Interlink them and staple them to make rainbow chain links
Cut out a black pot and 4-6 little yellow circles for the gold
Glue the yellow circles together and glue to the top of the black pot
Tape one side of the handle (black strip of paper) to the back of the pot and loop through the purple link, taping it on the other side
Use a couple dots of glue to put some gold glitter on the yellow circles
Use some floss at the top and hang it up!
Enjoy your pot of gold, St. Patrick’s Day, and crafting with your kiddos! If anyone out this adorable craft, tag us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter!
