Looking for something fun for the family to get into this fall? Discover all of these kid-friendly places in and around The Woodlands area- there is something for everyone. Family fun never sounded so good!

 

1. Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion

This great venue for concerts and family events features many different types of shows. You can sit in a seat or in the grass, and food and beverages are available. What a lovely way to spend an evening with the family! The Houston Symphony will be playing at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on October 23rd at 7:30pm. The Houston Symphony series is open to the public with free lawn seating.

2. The Woodlands Children’s Museum

twcmThe Woodland’s Children’s Museum is a perfect place filled with activities for small people and their parents! The admission is only $5 per person and under 2 years is free. The museum offers a great indoor play area with many fun and educational activities! The Woodland’s Children’s Museum has different events going on daily as well as field trips, workshops, and birthday parties!

3. George Mitchell Nature Preserve

A very peaceful and scenic wide trail, the George Mitchell Nature Preserve is a perfect place to take the family for a nature stroll, especially during the cooler months! The preserve is great for trail riding, dog walking, and it’s a pretty good excuse to get the kids out of the house to get some fresh air and explore the outdoors! 4. My Gym of The Woodlands
